El video de Are You Lost In The World Like Me? (Estás perdido en el mundo como yo?), presenta una dura crítica a la sociedad actual y su adicción a la tecnología. El trabajo fue dirigido por Steve Cutts, un artista de la imagen en movimiento de Londres que se inspiró en las animaciones de los años ’30 de Max Fleischer, el pionero en la producción de cortometrajes de animación, como Betty Boop o Popeye el marino.

En las imágenes se puede ver una caricatura de un niño que no usa aparatos tecnológicos vagando en un mundo apocalíptico, completamente dependiente de la tecnología.

El trabajo también refleja la falsedad que se refleja en las redes sociales donde muchos personas fingen una felicidad que no están viviendo, etc.

The animated black-and-white video for the song was created by Steven Cutts and is done in the style of 1920s animator Max Fleisher. In it, a wide-eyed child roams through a world full of automatons who do nothing but stare at their smartphones. 

 An an interview with Rolling Stone, Cutts said of his visual take on Moby’s song, “For me the video is about our increasing dependence on technology and about human interaction today, or a certain lack of it. It focuses on the way tech is changing us—how we have become desensitized.”
